Taylor B. Stone
About
Prior to the founding of Janus & Stone, P.C., Taylor B. Stone practiced law with his mentor, Murray J. Janus, at Bremner, Janus & Stone in Richmond. Janus, a graduate of Dartmouth College and the University of Virginia School of Law, groomed Stone into a highly seasoned trial lawyer. Following Janus’ passing in 2013, Stone founded Janus & Stone, P.C., retaining his mentor’s name in his honor. Stone continues this tradition of excellence in representing clients in criminal, family, and traffic cases. He has followed in Janus’ footsteps with a number of awards and honors to his name.
Attorney Taylor B. Stone represents cases throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia and the United States District Courts. To date, he has handled appeals in the United States Supreme Court, Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals, Supreme Court of Virginia, and Court of Appeals of Virginia. He is admitted to practice in the United States Supreme Court, Supreme Court of Virginia, Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Virginia. A native of Richmond, Stone is a graduate of Thomas Dale High School, Hampden-Sydney College, and the University of Richmond Law School. While in law school, he served as Student Bar President and won the Carrico Moot Court Competition.
